Friends - you need to invite Jan Kraybill to your church for an organ concert - stunning performance, great music making - all tied up with her sparkling personality and communication skills - a real winner!!

Thank you and breath taking doesn’t even come close to describe your concert at the Cathedral today.  While your talent is obvious, your spirit is equally evident.  You transported the audience to spiritual, musical and sensual highs in every piece you performed.

The Executive Board of the Denver AGO also expressed their excitement with the quality of both events ...  We gained new members, renewals, and a generous donation as a result of this program. ... I heard [Jan] play last summer at the Regional AGO Convention in Wichita, and it was a SUPERB recital with some of the finest playing I have heard in years!

I wanted to write to say thanks for allowing Jan Kraybill to offer ministry at the German Pentecost Conference. She did an outstanding job. The introduction of the new German Hymnal couldn’t have gone better. It is important that headquarters ministers be able to share their gifts with the church at large. Jan is a blessing to the church and we are lucky to have her.

Our work together on the Finzi and RVW was a dream come true, as I’ve wanted to program both works for many years but was waiting for the right time. I am so glad that my “moment made eternal” included you at the organ console. I will always remember your superb playing during the rehearsal and the concert! Thank you very much.

Thanks so much for a wonderful concert. You brought colors out from the instrument we have not heard before. Thanks too for such a broad range of good stuff! It is indeed a great instrument in a great hall and we were very pleased to have it played by a great organist!

Just a quick note to THANK YOU (!!) for a marvelous, exciting, well played concert yesterday. It truly was an honor to have “at the console” at First Pres. I hope you found that you were able to “make music” on the new console.

I wanted to let you know that your recital was simply wonderful. The audience was thrilled with both your playing and your commentary. It as a special day for the Cathedral. And, it was nice to see the organ so well used.

On behalf of the AGO 08 Steering Committee and Program Committee I want to personally thank you for your participation in the convention. Your especially fine performances at the Wayzata Community Church were a highlight of the convention for me. Not only was I very happy, but I heard numerous fine comments from other convention goers as well. As a fan of, and frequent performer of, the Bach Sei gegrusset partita, I am always interested in hearing new interpretations and I quite enjoyed yours.

It was a great pleasure to hear you play at last weeks AGO convention, especially on our Hendrickson! What a fantastic recital!

Let me reiterate that I enjoyed your concert ... as much as any I can remember in the many years I’ve been to organ concerts .... The comments I heard from others in the audience were all positive. The local Community of Christ folks attended in good numbers, and were just thrilled with having you here, and sharing time with them. They very much recognize and appreciate your musical talents, your outstanding people skills and your passion.

I also heard good comments from folks attending your workshop. I’ve attended quite a few workshops over the years, but we never had one that I enjoyed so much. Your personable way of instructing is very rare, and everyone saw that.

Thanks so much for a great recital Friday. Everyone enjoyed it so much. I hope you can play for us again.

Three weeks ago, October 6-7, we experienced a marvelous revitalizing ministry in our congregation when Jan Kraybill came and ministered to us in a “Festival of Praise and Worship”. She led a marvelous hymn festival, provided exciting musical leadership for our communion service, and presented a workshop on “Vibrant Worship”. ... We were ushered into a new dimension of praise and worship.

First of all, Mauruuru and Mauruuru roa for all you did for us. For your talent, your gift, your kindness. We were and are still blessed by your presence during those past weeks. We hope you enjoyed your stay, the way of life we offered you. We don't have gold to offer you, but received our Aroha, Love.

Jan, it was a joy meeting you and having you as part of our program last night. I loved watching you play on the piano, the expressive way you present your music and the obvious love of what you do. I also thoroughly enjoyed your renditions of old favorites on the organ! (Too bad I couldn't see you do that from where I sat.) Thank you so much for helping make our 90th anniversary program a success.
