A recital of music for diverse audiences in the acoustically and visually beautiful Grace Cathedral.

Hear a variety of music for diverse audiences at the three-manual, 41-rank Hutchings-Votey/Kilgen/Ott organ, installed 1904 and refurbished in 1998.  Sponsored by the St. Louis chapter of the American Guild of Organists.

Founded in 2010, the Spire Chamber Ensemble brings together the most talented singers from across the U.S. and Canada for one-of-a-kind chorale events.  This concert will present an unforgettable collection of 21st century composers including Jonathan Dove, Gabriel Jackson, Ola Gjeilo, Morten Lauridsen, and many others.  The ensemble is conducted by founder Ben A. Spalding; I am the accompanist.

Part of the dedication series for the new organ (Reuter, rebuilt by Quimby) for the church.  Rescheduled from November 20, 2011, when structural issues with the building delayed the installation of the organ.

Performed in English with Brahms’ piano duet accompaniment.  The Village Choir; Mark Ball, conductor.
